A group of young farmers has banded together to revive this completely run down and abandoned washing station in Mathira bringing it back to its glorydays 🌞 a mix of heritage, pride, stubbornness and a fresh start from the youths of this community really made it work!
Today the washing station produces excellent coffees, and to our delight, fun processings!
Consolidated from all the smallholding farmers in the cooperative, fermented for 6 days in barrels and dried in whole cherry on the renovated raised beds for a month!
This coffee from this young and thriving cooperative has notes of lime, black currant and vanilla. Enjoy!😍
