Edwin Narvaez is a generational coffee farmer, and in 1994 he bought his own farm; La Esmeralda. Today his whole family works on the 5 hectar farm. They have heaps of great coffee varietals on the farm, and Edwin loves to continously improve and innovate on his processing methods.
The lot we bought from his farm is of the varietal called Colombia. Pretty neat name for a varietal in Colombia:) Just after harvesting he dried the coffee in whole cherry. Simply and excellent traditional processesing method.
In the end the coffee has an incredible sweetness. And these characters of both plum and rasins.
