This is our third harvest with the Dukamo family in Sidama!
Currently the Dukamo family is run by the two brothers Asefa and Mulugeta. Through 16 years of hard work they are getting to improve the quality and livelyhood of their family and farmers in this region.
This particular coffee is of heirloom varieties and is from their farm Shantawene. The coffee was picked and sorted and dried in cherry on raised beds with meticulous drying technique to stablelize the temperature. They covered and uncovered the cherries with this extremely long sleepingbag multiple times a day to make sure temperature stays down while there is intense sun or keeps well in colder nights since it can vary up to 23°C in the region.
It has a light body and fun notes like candied peach, bubblegum and rosewater💐🍑🍬
