Abyssinia is kind of a heritage lot. The coffee comes from smallholders in the Guji highlands. This is the coffee that back in the days placed Guji on the map!

The coffee is of heirloom varietals, meaning they were wild plants thriving here and is the backbones of coffea arabica as we know it. The farmers picked their coffee cherries and consolidated to make a cooperative lot. Where the cherries are dried on raised beds.

The result is this classic characteristic with notes of black tea and red berries!
